Scope
This policy explains how Dataweav handles personal information collected through this website, dataweav.com. It covers the information you give us when you contact us or book a call, the technical data our servers record when you visit, and the data our analytics and visitor-identification tools collect.
It does not cover the data engagements themselves. When we work with a client on their data sources, the handling of that data is governed by the agreement signed for that engagement, not by this policy.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run the site.
- Information you provide. When you contact us or book a call, we collect your email address and any details you choose to include about your company, your data sources, or your request.
- Technical data. Our web server records standard request information (IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps) in routine access logs.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used. It sets cookies and records the pages you visit, how you arrived, your device and browser, and your approximate location.
- Visitor identification. We use RB2B, which may identify visitors from businesses in the United States. When it does, it sends us details such as your name, job title, company and LinkedIn profile.
How we use it
We use the information you provide to respond to your request, to prepare and discuss a pilot, and to communicate with you about working together. We use technical log data to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site. We use analytics to improve the site, and visitor identification to follow up with businesses that may want to work with us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to your request and to maintain a record of our correspondence, after which we delete or anonymize it. Server access logs are retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes and then rotated out.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have given us, or ask us to stop contacting you. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To make a request, email us at the address below and we will act on it within a reasonable time.
Security
This site is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
