Scope

This policy explains how Dataweav handles personal information collected through this website, dataweav.com. It covers the information you give us when you contact us or request a Gap Audit, and the limited technical data our servers record when you visit.

It does not cover the data engagements themselves. When we work with a client on their data sources, the handling of that data is governed by the agreement signed for that engagement, not by this policy.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and run the site.

• Information you provide. When you submit the Gap Audit form or otherwise contact us, we collect the business email address you enter and any details you choose to include about your company, your data sources, or your request.
• Technical data. Our web server records standard request information — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — in routine access logs. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not set non-essential cookies.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to respond to your request, to prepare and discuss a Gap Audit, and to communicate with you about working together. We use technical log data to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

The Gap Audit

The Gap Audit form requires a business email address. We ask for a business address so we can identify the organization the request relates to and reply through an appropriate channel; the form blocks free and personal email providers for that reason. The email and any context you submit are used solely to evaluate and respond to your audit request.

Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties except where it is necessary to operate the site or required by law. This may include infrastructure and hosting providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, and disclosures we are legally compelled to make. We do not share your data for any other purpose.

Retention

We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to your request and to maintain a record of our correspondence, after which we delete or anonymize it. Server access logs are retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes and then rotated out.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have given us, or ask us to stop contacting you. To make a request, email us at the address below and we will act on it within a reasonable time.

Security

This site is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
